Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Tuesday published the syllabus of preliminary test of the 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).
The syllabus was published on the PSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd).
According to the new amendment rules published on September 23, this year preliminary examination will be taken on 200 marks which were 100 in previous years.
Unlike the previous years, this year examination time will be extended from one hour to 2 hours.
The application fee, which was Tk 500 in previous year, has been fixed at Tk 700.
This year the candidates will fight for some 1,803 posts.
The preliminary exam will be held in the second half of December, 2014. The details can be found on the PSC website.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission today published the results of 34th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) written examinations.
9822 candidates came out successfully in total for viva voce which will start from January 26.
The result is available on the website of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (www.bpsc.gov.bd).
Candidates also get result by sending SMS to number 16222 from Teletalk mobile phones.
‘BCS’ followed by space then ‘34’ followed by space again and then the registration number. For example: BCS 34 123456 and send to 16222.
