HSC Result 2014. Every year
huge number of students appear in the HSC Examinations. A total larger number
of 11,41,374 students took part from 8104 educational institutions in the
Higher Secondary School Certificate Exam 2014 across the country under 10
education boards. The education boards are- Dhaka Education Board, Chittagong
Education Board, Rajshahi Education Board, Barisal Education Board, Sylhet
Education Boards, Jessore Education Board, Comilla Board, Dinajpur Board,
Bangladesh Madrasha Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
This year total number of candidates increased from previous year.

It provides varied courses in order to equip students for different occupations, to prepare them for University education and to equip them for various cultural purposes. It examines those who have completed a prescribed course of study and awards certificates to the successful candidates. Besides, it does all other things which are incidental to the above.
